It is said that when the Shadowwalker invasion swept across the lands, the Custodes Spinea placed the Crux Spinae at the heart of the citadel. As night fell, the cross came to life: its points cast sharp rays, slicing through the darkness and purifying the corrupted ground. The black thorns of the necklace, suspended around the neck, symbolize these spears of light, reminding their wearer that, even amidst the deepest shadows, a flame can spring forth and push back the night.
