In the shadows of the ancient fortress of Vindictus, an order of black knights—the Custodes Spinea—is said to have guarded a sacred artifact: a cross of light bristling with silver thorns. Forged at the dawn of a forgotten age, this relic captured the energy of dead stars, channeling their pure radiance through each sharp edge.
It is said that when the Shadowwalker invasion swept across the lands, the Custodes Spinea placed the Crux Spinae at the heart of the citadel. As night fell, the cross came to life: its points cast sharp rays, slicing through the darkness and purifying the corrupted ground. The black thorns of the necklace, suspended around the neck, symbolize these spears of light, reminding their wearer that, even amidst the deepest shadows, a flame can spring forth and push back the night.
To wear the Crux Spinae is to unite with the lineage of the Custodes: to be the guardian of an invincible light, ready to pierce the veil of darkness and reveal the truth hidden behind every scar.
